I was not really impressed by Hataraku Maou-Sama. The first few episodes were really great, it even made me laugh out loud on multiple occasion. However, the whole thing became gimmicky and not funny. But maybe it’s only because I expected better after seeing the first few episodes.

Characters : The characters are what you would expect characters to be in a light comedy. Not particularly deep, quite shallow actually. There’s really no explanation why Satan is now a good human and is not evil. It could have been much better, they could have explore the idea that being good of evil is only a question of perspective. But instead they decided to go at the beach.

Conclusion : If you’re in need of a small comedy, this one is clean and might even make you laugh on multiple occasion. It is however unfortunate that the ending was kind of boring. I’m not gonna watch it again, but i’m glad I did watch it once.
