The story of child solder getting recruited by an eccentric arm dealer. This show is awesomely political with the military industrial complex fully expose. A nice critic of the gun culture and the escalation of violence over the world. A very compelling first season and a most impressive second season.
It’s not every day that we get the chance to have an anime with almost everything right. Music, animation, characters, plot and themes. Jormungand does it. I love anti-hero and Koko is definitely one of my favourite of all time. A strong woman character with ambition and no need of a man to tell her what to do. She will come up with a plan to stop wars around the world… a plan that will probably make you think twice about what’s the right thing to do. Even after spending probably way to much time thinking about this hypothetical situation, I have yet to come up with what is the right thing to do.
The pacing of season one is slower but it’s setting everything up for season two… so it’s all good.Awesome show, well worth your time. 19/20
